Jonathan C. McNew (1832-1901) was born in Washington County, Virginia, the sixth of ten children of Jonathan and Catherine Marian Evitt McNew. He married Mary Jackson (1835-after 1910), daughter of John R. and Mary Walden Jackson, in Washington County, Virginia. They had ten children, 1858-1877. Children and grandchildren listed lived in Virginia and elsewhere.
Includes the Snead and other related families.
