Daniel Burd (1808-1863) married Margaret Lawson in 1829 in Greene County, Tennessee, and shortly moved to Blount County, Tennessee. The family moved to Osage County, Missouri in 1842. Descendants and relatives lived in Tennessee, Georgia, Missouri, Oklahoma, Virginia, Maryland, Utah, Oregon, Wyoming, Washington, Idaho and England and elsewhere. Includes ancestry to the 1400s.
