Richard Knight (d.1760/61) was the father of Ephraim, Alice and Richard Jr. of Surry Co., Virginia. Alice married Edward Threewitt. By 1759 both Richard and Ephraim were living in Halifax Co., North Carolina. Ephraim married Mary and they were parents to seven children. Their son Meredith (b.ca1768-1813) married Frances Daniel.
