Samuel Dillon (1751-1836) married Chloe Farley about 1784, and lived in Franklin County, Virginia. They had at least four sons and one daughter, most of these moving to Windsor Township, Lawrence County, Ohio. Descendants and relatives also lived in Maryland, West Virginia, Kentucky, North Carolina, California and elsewhere.

Includes Archer, Clay, Farley, Nance, Powell, Vaughan, Vermillion, Walker, Ward and related families.
