She died in England, and he continued with his children and his step-children. He settled in Augusta County, Virginia, where he married again. Among his own children emigrating from Germany with him was Conrad Fudge. Conrad married Mary Teeter about 1765, and among their children was Christian Fudge (1766-1826). Christian Fudge married Elizabeth Nicholas in Rockingham County, Virginia in 1790. They moved to Botetourt County in 1795, and to Warren County, Ohio in 1817/1818. Descendants and relatives of Christian lived in Virginia, Ohio, Indiana, Kansas, California and elsewhere.
