Descendants of Johan Nicolaus Link, who was born 1748 mostly likely in Germany. He married Anna Margaretha Eisceken (b. 1757). They had eleven children: 1. Johan Wilhelm (William) (b. 1780), who married Salley Grim 1801 in Augusta Co., Va.; 2. Johan Georg (George) (b. 1782), who married Anna Cathrin Frenger in Augusta Co.; 3. Anna Elisabetha (b. 1783), who married Christian Grim; 4. Johannes (John) (b. 1786), who married Barbara Winters in Rockbridge Co., Va.; 5. Magdalena (b. 1788); 6. Johan Heinrich (Henry) (b. 1790), who married Polly Winters in Rockbridge Co., and settled in Floyd Co., Va.; 7. Catherina (b. 1792), who married (1) Richard Hollis 1818, (2) Elijah Merchant 1827; 8. David (1795-1875) married Hannah Mowery in Augusta Co., Va. He died in Cross Plaines, Tenn.; 9. Anna (b. 1797); 10. Daniel (1798-1868); and 11. Salome (b. 1800).
