Record is a list of admissions, runaways and discharges of paupers including deaths and births. Entries are listed on day-to-day basis with no index except for volume containing 1845-1846 Aug 19 entries.
The Blockley Alms House was established in 1835 in Blockley Township to replace the inadequate almshouse at Spruce and Pine, 10th and 11th Streets.
Any gap in the dates is due to lost and missing volumes. All of the Daily occurrence dockets and Day books that could be found as of 1998 have been filmed.
