Microfilm of original manuscripts and finding aid prepared by the National Archives in Washington, District of Columbia.

Districts are divided into divisions and lists are generally alphabetical by first letter of last name within the division.

No records were received for District 16 (Adams, Bedford, Franklin, Fulton, and Somerset counties). There is no 1863 annual list for District 22. Other miscellaneous lists which are missing for various divisions are noted in the finding aids on each film.

Includes an index of counties and cities arranged alphabetically with the associated collection districts.
