Francis Kincannon was born ca. 1718 probably in Northern Ireland and married ca. 1740 Elizabeth. He and his family were living in Pennsylvania as early as 1757. He moved with his family in 1769 to Augusta (now Washington) County, Virginia. His will was probated in 1795.
Bryan McDonald was born ca. 1650 in Scotland and came with his wife Mary Combs to Delaware before 1685. His will was probated in 1707/8. His son Bryan McDonald married in 1715 to Catherine Robinson Borden. Bryan sold his property in Delaware in 1746/7 and moved to Augusta (now Botetourt) County, Virginia. His will was probated in 1757.
Related families were Howell, Justis, Morton, Robinson, Tussey, Walraven, Porterfield, Gilliam, and many others. Descendants lived in Virginia, Tennessee, Texas, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, and elsewhere.
