Jonathan Warrell was the son of Amos Worrell and Mary Shinault. He married Matilda Branscome in 1866. Ancestry is traced to John Worrall (1618-1703) of Acton, Cheshire, England, whose son, Peter, came to Pennsylvania in 1682. Descendants of Jonathan lived in Tennessee, Virginia, Maryland, and elsewhere.
Includes Shockley, Shinault, and related families.
