Microfilm of originals at the Marion County Courthouse in Jefferson, Texas.
Case papers that were assigned a number were filmed first those without numbers were filmed in alphabetical order by the first letter of the last name after those with assigned numbers.
The Naturalization and citizenship papers were filed separately and out of sequence with other District Court cases. The numbers assigned to the cases are from District Court and in sequence with other civil case papers.
Includes divorces, petitions to become a slave, removal of disability of a minor, citizenship, naturalizations, etc.
