Microfilm of original records at the Waseca County Courthouse in Waseca, Minnesota.
Although an index was filmed earlier, it was not found when the cases were filmed so a new index was made. This new index was written on cards with the individual card appearing before its respective case (unless stated otherwise). These cards were filmed again at the end of the film roll as an index to that roll. Then all the cards were interfiled and filmed separately as an index to all the film rolls.
Files are in order by file number which puts them in loose alphabetical order by the first letter of the surname. They contain wills, orders appointing administrators, verifications of claims, letters testamentary, and other documents which were needed in the cases.
