Notes

The organization was first known as the Young Women's Union and was established to provide a day nursey and temporary shelter for Jewish immigrant families. In 1918 it was incorporated as the Neighborhood Centre.

Files include much biographical data on the family of the child, caseworker and medical reports.

Some files are missing.
