Thomas Meadows (ca. 1615-ca. 1655) was born in England and died in Rappahannock, Virginia. He was the father of six children, all born in Virginia. His descendant, Thomas Meadows (Meadors) was born ca. 1771, probably in South Carolina. He married Elizabeth Todd, ca. 1794, probably at Anson, North Carolina. They had twelve children, 1796-1812. He died ca. 1817 in Knox County, Kentucky. Descendants listed spelled their surname "Meadors." Many lived in Indiana.
