Samuel Adams was born 15 January 1800 in Mississippi. He was an orphan and was raised by the Vaden family. Samuel worked as a tanner, farmer and large estate manager. He married Tamson Ann Dix 26 December 1827 and they were the parents of three known children. Samuel died 1898 in Galveston, Pennsylvania Co., Virginia. Descendants lived primarily in Virginia, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Florida, Canada and elsewhere.
