John Price (1580-1638) was born in either County of Montgomery or Brecknock, Wales. He had brothers Edward, James, Charles and Thomas. He married Mary Matthews and they were the parents of two sons born in Wales. He married (2) Ann Matthews. They settled near the Falls of James River in Charles City Co., VA. John and Mary's son, Matthews Price (b.1615) was born in Wales and died in Henrico Co., VA. Their son William Price settled at College Land, near Jamestown. Descendants lived in Virginia, Kentucky, Illinois and elsewhere.

Includes Matthews, Pugh, Osborne, Williamson, Davidson, Beatty, Salz, Remmel, Bedell, Gray, Hall, Harber, Loveland, Witherell, Robeson and other related families.
