Notes

Title from cover.

Officially spelled Flint.

The county of Clwyd comprises the pre-1974 counties of Denbigh and Flint.

"Flint was originally part of the ancient parish of Northop although it functioned as a parish in its own right and separate registers were kept for the church there. There is no record of the parish being formed officially but it was being recognised as a parish early in the nineteenth century. The parish was extended in 1872 when the townships of Leadbrook Major and Leadbrook Minor were transferred to it from Connah's Quay. Marriages in this list are confined to those celebrated at the parish church of Flint.".

Includes transcriptions of the names of the brides and grooms, the year of marriage, and a register reference number. No index is included.

Text in Welsh and English.
