The Alabama General Assembly approved acts in 1867, 1881, and 1885 providing Confederate veterans artifical limbs or compensation for loss of limbs and other disabling wounds. This series, from the State Auditors Office, consists of applications by responding vets to said relief acts. .
Applications are arranged alphabetically by county, then alphabetically by surname.
