One early emigrant ancestor was Woolery Coonrod, Jr. (ca. 1745-d. after 1814), who was born in Germany to Woolery Coonrod, Sr. and his wife Margaret of Canton Bern, Switzerland. He was married to Elizabeth Dresdern (ca. 1745-d. bef. 1814) ca. 1763. She was born in Augusta Co., Virginia. Both died in Walnut Twp., Pickaway Co., Ohio.
