Appears to be an earlier version of two other typescripts by the same author with the same title: film numbers 860972 (item 2) and 924079 (item 3).

Includes 16 leaves of supplementary material compiled by Willard Heiss and dated 1961.

John Degge (d.1726) was born in Nantwich, Cheshire, England and immigrated to Middlesex County, Virginia sometime prior to 1678. His first wife's name is not known, but the second's name was Johanna Kilbee, whom he married in 1706. His descendants lived in Virginia, North Carolina, and elsewhere.

Includes Dudley, Fort, Killebrew, Way, and related families.
