Pisgah Church has existed as early as 1790 on the Otter River. It united with Peaks and New London Churches in the 1800's and was known as Pisgah and New London Church. The latest Pisgah Church was organized in 1931. Records give the location of the church as Pisgah, then Lowry until 1958 when it change to Goode.
New London Church was part of Peaks Church in the late 1700's. The exact separation date is unknown but it was separate by 1818. Around 1857 the congregations of Peaks, Pisgah and New London were united under the name of Pisgah and New London Church. In 1871 the name Pisgah was dropped. The church was dissolved in 1895 and its assets given to the new church which was to be named Pisgah. New London Church was located at Otter Bridge.
The Women of the Church organization for the churches of Academy, Otterwood and Pisgah was formed in 1949. Pisgah's Women of the Church was organized separately in 1952. Records for 1949-1952 are with Academy Presbyterian Church.
