During the mid 1700's several Ball families arrived in Loudoun county, Virginia from Quaker communities in Pennsylvania and Delaware. Court records, census and tax records along with material from the Quaker Meeting notes are included in this study of the various members of Ball families who lived in Loudoun and to a lesser degree Fauquier counties during the period to about 1850. Some Ball families later moved to Ohio, Kentucky, and elsewhere in the midwest.
Includes Ball, Smith and related families from Loudoun county, Virginia.
