Information about some of the ancestors of Rhea Louise Shelton, the daughter of Ellis Eugene and Ruth Louise Wiggins Shelton, who was born in Dixon, Missouri, 27 March 1942.

James Finney, the son of Michael and Catherine Armstrong Finney, was was born in Augusta County, Virginia, in 1752. He served in the Revolutionary War. He died near Nashville, Tennessee, in 1910. Mary Finney Dodd, daughter of James Finney and his wife, Mary, was born 29 Feb. 1788 in Laurens County, South Carolina. She married Josiah Dodd, Jr. in Knox County, Tennessee, in 1806. They moved to Phelps County, Missouri, in 1830. Josiah Dodd died in 1860 and his wife in 1870.

Includes the Rhea, Fraizer, Washbourne and other ancestral families.
