Contains research notes; letters from Donna Wallace, Sheldon, Missouri; a copy of a newspaper article listing marriages in Morgan County, Indiana, 1822-1842, for sunames beginning with "W"; Wright Cemetery inscriptions from Salem Cemetery, Hendricks County, Indiana; Wright family Bible records, ca. 1761-1868; Griffith family records, ca. 1767-1803; Reynolds family records, ca. 1801-1838; and Reynolds names from an unknown index.
James Wright (1772-1849), son of John and Jemima Wright, married Catherins Grim (1782-1848), daughter of John and Lydia Grimm, in 1798. Their son, Joab (1800-1867), married Ruth Griffith, (1802- 1881), daughter of John and Hannah Faulkner Griffith in 1823. They had nine children, 1824-1842. Their son, Joel (1835-1866), married Martha Jane Andrew in 1861. They had three children, 1862-1866.
John Griffith (1767-1847), son of Samuel and Amy Griffith, married Hannah Faulkner (1768-1844), daughter of Jesse and Martha Faulkner, in 1790. They had four children, 1791-1802.
Mahlon Reynolds (1801-1876), son of David and Ann Reynolds, was born in North Carolina. He married Ruth Rhubottom, daughter of Simon and Elizabeth Rhubottom, in 1824. They had twelve children, 1825-1842.
