Notes

Margaret Jane (Hodges) Crocker, wife of James Francis Crocker, was the daughter of John Hodges and Jane Adelaide Gregory of Portsmouth, Virginia. Her earliest known ancestor in Virginia was James Gregory (d.1760/1761), who married Patience Godwin, and lived in Nansemond County, Virginia. James was probably the son of John Gregorie, the rector of Nansemond Parish in 1680. The booklet shows the lineage between James Gregory (d.1760/1761) and Mary Jane (Hodges) Crocker. Descendants and relatives lived in Virginia, North Carolina and elsewhere.

Includes Borland, Butt, Godwin, Granbery and related families.
