Notes

Microreproduction of original records at the Library, Union Theological Seminary in Richmond, Virginia.

Some records are hard to read.

The church was organized in 1831 from the Cumberland Church. In 1840 "the Church went with the New School in the denominational division. It is said that in 1843 it merged with Cumberland again and the Church Court records indicate that to be true but they have maintained an active Guinea program through the years." -- prelim. materials.
