Michael Prewitt was born in 1720 or 1722 in Virginia, and married twice. He lived in Lunenburg Co., Bedford Co., and Campbell Co., Virginia; and in Fayette Co. and Shelby Co., Kentucky. He died in Shelby Co. in 1798.

Includes Cunningham, Davis, Grimes, Johnston, Pruitt, Waller and related families.
