William DeLoach, probably the son of Michael Deloge, a member of a French Huguenot family that immigrated to Virginia sometime between 1663 and 1671, was born ca. 1678. He married Eleanor, and daughter of John Collins, before March 1705, and settled in Southwark Parish, Surry County, Virginia. They had two sons and two daughters. He died ca. 1747. Descendants listed lived in Virginia, South Carolina, and Georgia.
