Caleb Osborn was in Rowan County, North Carolina in 1756. He died there before 1781. Descendants lived in Virginia, Indiana, Kentucky, Texas, and elsewhere. Also includes family of Squire Osborn who was born in Rowan County, North Carolina. He married Elizabeth Alley (ca. 1772-1843) before 1793. She was born in Russell County, Virginia and died in Missouri. Includes much information on several other early southern Osborn families. James Alley (ca. 1728-ca. 1798) was born probably in Henrico County, Virginia. He died in Russell County, Virginia.
Includes Horne, Cragun, Kilgore, Richmond, Nelson, and related families.
