John Fuson, of Welsh lineage, married Miss Wheeler and lived in Hanover County, Virginia in 1762 when their son, William Fuson, was born. William enlisted in the Revolutionary Army from Henry County, Virginia, and married Hannah Bates in 1784. Descendants and relatives lived in Virginia, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Iowa, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, Colorado, Oregon, Washington, California and elsewhere. Includes other Fuson individuals and families, with some descendants, where relationships are not traced. Includes some family history and possible ancestry in England.

Includes Finch, Hancock, Peterson, Tinkey, Walter, Whitmer, Ball, Bishop, Burkwall, Corfman, Fuston, Hadley, Hanks, Hewlings, Knepp, Miller, Morgan, McKain, Rairdon, Rupe, Stapleton, Swonger and related families.
