Henry Benton Henegar was born 26 February 1815 in Greene County, Tennessee. He is the great grandson of Conrad Henegar who immigrated to America from Holland and settled in Virginia. Henry married Margaret Lea 11 September 1849 in Cleveland, Tennessee. They were the parents of five known children. Henry died 25 December 1900 in Cleveland, Tennessee. Descendants lived primarily in Tennessee and elsewhere.
