Microfilm of originals in the National Archives Branch in Kansas City, Missouri.

Includes declarations of intention which were created earlier than their related petitions.

The vast majority of the candidates resided in Kansas City, Jackson County, Mo. at the time of their petitions. Of the non-Kansas City petitions sampled, most of the other candidates lived in Jackson County.

The dates in the film inventory below are petition dates, not oath of allegiance dates which were usually a year later and are found on the reverse side of the petition form.
