Dates on film title boards are sometimes inaccurate.
Norborne Parish was created from Frederick Parish in 1769 but did not receive its first minister until 1771. When Jefferson County was formed from Berkeley County in 1801, part of the parish became St. Andrew's Parish in this new county.
The parish contained Trinity Church in Martinsburg, Mount Zion Church in Hedgesville, and Calvary Church near Back Creek and Hedgesville. Later, it included Christ Church in Bunker Hill, West Virginia. Calvary Church was disbanded and the church sold by 1902.
