Gabriel Maupin I, a Huguenot, married Mary Spencer (an English woman), immigrated from France to England, and then to Henrico County, Virginia. By 1708 they were settled in Williamsburg, Virginia. Descendants lived in Virginia and elsewhere. Includes Maupin and Spencer ancestry in France and England to 742 A.D.
