Microfilm of original records at the Clerk of the District Court, Coffey County Courthouse, Burlington, Kansas.
In Coffey County the civil appearances and divorces had no indexing system and a duplicate filing system. Therefore, packets 1-604 had duplicate numbers although they were separate files.
The divorce packets were pulled from the civil/ domestic packets of the District Court and that is why the packet numbers skip so much.
