Land causes are chancery suits for land division, ejectment proceedings, and other cases. The documents for these suits trace the owners of the land, often giving names of heirs or next of kin, and other information. The dates of these documents are sometimes earlier than the court recording date. Documents sometimes come from courts of other counties.

Volumes are individually indexed.

Contains the suits, deeds, depositions, judgments, wills, etc.
