This record is composed of compiled questionnaire forms. The questionnaire was prepared to ascertain what ecclesiastical records are preserved in the various parishes in Wales, what their condition is, and what steps are taken to safeguard them. The parishes are grouped within the dioceses as they were constituted after 1922. Some parishes were included within the boundaries of a different diocese after 1922 and a search may be necessary in more than one.
