Obediah Hooper was born ca. 1720-1726, probably in Hanover county, Virginia. He was in Lunenburg County from 1750 to 1783. He married Massilva (Brookes?) and died in 1803 in Franklin County, Georgia. Descendants lived in Georgia, Alabama, Oklahoma, Texas, North Carolina, Washington, Kansas, California, and elsewhere. Also includes family of Alexander Cleveland who was born ca. 1659 and died in Orange County, Virginia ca. 1770. He was married to Milly Presley. Descendants and relatives lived in Virginia, Georgia, Mississippi, South Carolina, Alabama, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Texas, Illinois, California and elsewhere.
