Notes

The court and some of the marriage records were registered with the county clerk. The rest of the marriage records were recorded with the probate judge. The court records are intermixed with the marriages.

The miscellaneous court records include appraisals, appointments or commissions of notary publics and deputy recorders, letters patent, bond records, a marriage, etc.

Volumes 1-2 are indexed separately while all other volumes include the indexes.
