Notes

Thomas Fewterell Sr. (ca.1640-1693) and his wife Gilian were probably the parents of Thomas Futerell (ca.1670-1739), who moved from Surry County, Virginia to Bertie County, North Carolina. It is also possible that Thomas Fewterell Sr. immigrated to Virginia from England. Descendants and relatives lived in Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, Louisiana, Kentucky, Illinois, California and elsewhere. Some descendants became members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and lived in California, Utah and elsewhere. Includes ancestry along several lines in England, Germany and elsewhere.

Includes index (listing Fewterell, Futeral, Futerell, Futral, Futril, Fytrell and many other variant spellings).

Includes Ahart, Berkley, Bintliff, Bridges, Cohoon (Calhoun), Collins, Colson, Ford (Fords), Garland, Green, Hendon, Jones, Joyce, Joyce, Lancaster, Oakley, Outland, Ross, Scott, Thomas, Underhill, Vinson and related families.

Also available on microfilm.
