Justus Boitnott (b.ca.1760), of French lineage and probably an Irish immigrant, was in Franklin County, Virginia during or before 1808, and married widow Susannah (Dishong) Slater in 1809. They had six children, born between 1809 and 1822. Descendants and relatives lived in Virginia, Kentucky, Indiana, Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska and elsewhere.
Includes Clayton, Clingenpeel, Dague, Flora, Ikenberry, Jameson and related families.
