The County Court ceased to exist by 1902 and was replaced by the Circuit Court.
A bond is a legal document wherein a person commits himself, his heirs, executors and administrators to pay a required amount of money to another if certain duties are not performed. These were paid by people elected or appointed to public offices or to be guardians, executors, or administrators of a person's estate.
Contains bonds for people elected or appointed to be sheriffs, clerks of the courts, constables, notary publics, executors, administrators, guardians, treasurers, etc., or for performing certain duties as ordered by the court.
