The register of marriages, also called marriage register, was divided into two sections; the first with information copied from marriage bonds and the second with information copied from minister's returns. Gives date of bond or marriage, name of husband, name of wife, names of parents or guardians of husband and wife (if known), names of security and witnesses (if known), and name of minister (if known).
