The registers seem to be missing the years 1860-1863.

The birth registers give the birth date, child's name, sex, race (if "colored" before 1864, says whether free or slave), birthplace, father's name (before 1864, gives slave owner's name), father's occupation and residence, mother's name, whether born alive or dead, how many at a birth, deformity or any circumstances of interest, and and sources of information.

The death register, 1853-1866, gives person's name, race (if "colored" before 1864, says whether free or slave), sex, death date, place of death, cause of death, age, parents' names, birthplace, occupation, name of spouse or if unmarried, sources of information. Before 1864, also gives slave owner's name.
