Notes

The County Court ceased to exist by 1904 (1902) and was replaced by the Circuit Court.

Many of the later documents were recorded in the office of the clerk of the County Court and, when the County Court was replaced, with the clerk of the Circuit Court.

Contains wills, appraisements, inventories, sales of properties, etc.

The miscellaneous wills include a typescript ([1943?], 11 leaves) titled "Early wills of Lee County" by Geo. P. Cridlin. This typescript contains abstracts of only the wills found in will book v. 1 and may be incomplete. The original will book has been lost or destroyed.

Includes a general index. Vols. 2-6 and 10 are also individually indexed.
