Microreproduction of the originals in the Public Archives of Canada. Original maps engraved at the Ordnance Survey Office, Phoenix Park (Dublin), under the direction of Lt. Larcom, R.E. by Sergeant West of the Royal Sappers and Miners (dates vary). Originally published and sold for her Majesty's Government by Hodges and Smith, Dublin.

Subtitle: Names of baronies, parishes, townlands, cities, market towns, parish churches, parks and demesnes, farms, villages, mines, gentlemen's seats, manufactories, isolated houses, locks, bridges, bays, harbors, navigable rivers, smaller rivers, brooks, antiquities, area figures, principal points, secondary points, and heights above the sea at low water.

Maps dated between 1834 and 1845.

The second microfiche for each county contains the index to the townland survey maps. Scales on the index maps vary. The numbers on the index map correspond to the sheet numbers of the townland maps.
