History of Karl Gustaf Asiala (1868-1918), who was born in Toholampi, Vaasa Co., Finland, and died in Kaleva, Michigan. He married Hilma Johanna Pollari (1874-1937) 1898 in Chicago, Illinois. She was born in Toholampi also. Karl Gustaf Asiala emigrated from Finland to Kaleva, Michigan in 1889. Hilma Johanna Pollari emigrated some time in the late 1890's. They had nine children born in Chicago, Illinois and Kaleva, Michigan.
