The entries were taken from newspapers which were not usually named. Those named were the Richmond Enquirer, Baltimore American, Lynchburg Virginian, Philadelphia Nat. Gazette, Norfolk Herald, Alexandria Herald, Lynchburg Press, Shepherdstown Herald, Fredricksburg Herald, Nat. Int., Norfolk Beacon, Louisville Kentucky Advertiser, and the Kingston Gazette.
