Notes

The Hustings Court for Lynchburg became the Corporation Court sometime in 1870.

Dates given are the dates the documents were recorded with the clerk of the court.

A note in v. A indicates that previous to 1 Jan. 1824 all inventories, guardian's accounts, executor's and administrators's accounts, accounts of sales, etc. were recorded in the deed books.

Contains wills, inventories, fiduciary accounts, bonds, accounts of sales, and other probate documents.

Includes general index. Volumes are also individually indexed.
