Notes

Adin Robinson, son of William and Eleanor Robinson, was born 19 May 1787 near Harper's Ferry, Virginia. After the death of his father, the family moved to Mays Lick, Mason County, Kentucky in 1793. In 1808 Adin emigrated to Warren County, Ohio where he met and married Jane Anderson of Hamilton Township, Warren County. Jane, daughter of James and Margaret Anderson, was born 1 November 1792 at Carlisle, Pennsylvania. After their marriage on 16 December 1813 at her father's home near Loveland Ohio, Adin and Jane eventually moved to a farm on the west line of Clark County, Ohio, three miles north of New Carlisle. "Here Adin lived until his death, October 11, 1864. He was buried in the cemetery at McKendra Chapel, one mile west of his late home, in Miami County."--P. 8 He was preceded in death by his wife Jane Anderson Robinson who died 22 January 1861. They are buried beside each other at the McKendra Chapel Cemetery. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived in Ohio, Maryland, Kentucky, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Arizona, Indiana, Illinois, Louisiana and elsewhere.
